That is why practical learning plays an important role across many MT Training Center programs. Depending on the field of study, students may work in dedicated laboratories, technical training spaces, shops, classrooms or commercial driving environments where instruction can be connected to practical application.
The DeSoto main campus includes approximately 46,000 square feet of educational and industrial training space, with areas supporting programs such as welding, CNC machining, HVAC-R, diesel technology, commercial driving, gunsmithing, barbering, cosmetology and classroom-based education.
Students in industrial programs may also train with equipment from recognized manufacturers such as HAAS, Sharp, Miller and Lincoln.
